QUERENCIA 2017 QUERENCIA is a photo story that took place in London and Onomichi, Japan in May 2015. With this project I wanted to explore the world of Mistress Hibiki, Japanese performer and dominatrix. Later, when working on the photographs I started creating a series of digital artworks. I decided to include some in the photo story. QUERENCIA was released as a limited edition photobook in 2017 via ENTERTAINING VIOLENCE. Around the time of QUERENCIA's release, I wrote the following synopsis: “between performance and personal identity we enter a supernatural dimension, a suite of interrelated fictions”.
